These three wall clocks were acquired as ex-display samples and were most likely originally intended for distribution to surplus dealers, trade resellers, or partner companies working with MWC. It is also possible that they were evaluation or photographic samples used for promotional purposes, although the exact background is unfortunately unknown.

We recently obtained two batches of these clocks at a military clearance sale, where they were described as non-functional display samples. They are now being offered as a clearance lot of three at a very low price simply to clear.

Although sold as non-working display pieces, our service department inspected them and confirmed that, if fitted with replacement movements, they would function perfectly normally as standard wall clocks. In other words, returning them to full working order would be straightforward for anyone wishing to do so who has basic clock repair skills.
